Luvirt Parker is a gifted leader, teacher and speaker. Since coming to know Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior at a young age, he has been teaching and preaching for more than 20 years throughout Northeast Ohio. Luvirt earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cleveland State University in 2004, double majoring in Mathematics and Religious Studies. In 2019, he received his Master of Arts in Biblical Literature from Alliance Theological Seminary, where he graduated with honors. Luvirt currently serves as Lead Pastor of Christ Community Church in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He and Kelly, his wife of 18 years, reside in Shaker Heights with their three children: Gabrielle, Luvirt, Jr., and Nia. Davlon has been preaching the Gospel for 26 years. He was ordained as a minister in the Baptist tradition in 1999. Davlon was formally trained in Biblical studies with a private studies group associated with the Cleveland Heights Church from 2009 to 2013. Davlon works full time as a School Psychologist and has been married for 23 years to his lovely wife Celine Johnson. Davlon and Celine have five beautiful children. Tim Pykare went to a church as a youngster where he accumulated head knowledge but no heart knowledge. However, by the grace of God, Jesus saved Tim while he was a student at Kent State University. After being totally changed by Jesus, Tim committed to following and serving God in any capacity. After completing college, a door opened for Tim to teach history in Cleveland Public Schools. Over the course of 32 years, not only did Tim teach history, he also help develop many youth through coaching multiple sports. After teaching and coaching in Cleveland Public Schools, Tim retired and now works part time at a fitness center. It was at the fitness center that Tim met Pastor Luvirt and they formed a relationship. Eventually, Tim joined the Christ Community Church family and the rest, as they say, is "history." Charles Perkins is a Richmond, Virginia native who relocated to Cleveland from Winston-Salem, North Carolina in October 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Norfolk State University in Electronic Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Charles currently works as a Component Engineer for Rockwell Automation in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and serves as a Deacon at Christ Community Church. Shirl Mauldin is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. Shirl accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at age 29. She is married to Earl and has two children: Tia and Carlton. Shirl is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Berdine C. Southall serves as a Deaconess and as the Praise Dance Ministry Leader at Christ Community Church.  She came to know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of 12. Berdine has had experience as a youth leader, teaching Vacation Bible School and as a Women’s Ministry workshop speaker.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dayton, in 1984 majoring in Political Science.  In 2018 she received her Master’s in Education with a focus on Special Education from Notre Dame College.
